Inspired by the countless brook trout I've encountered in the small alpine lakes of Colorado's Rocky Mountain National Park, this handcrafted charcuterie board captures the brilliant colors and natural beauty of one of my favorite fish.

Made from beautiful Black Walnut, this one-of-a-kind board features a hand-poured epoxy inlay that recreates the distinctive olive-green back, vibrant red belly, and colorful spotting of a wild brook trout. Each layer of epoxy is individually poured by hand, creating depth and detail that bring the fish's natural markings to life.

The rich grain and warm tones of the Black Walnut beautifully complement the colorful epoxy artwork. Finished with Osmo TopOil, the board has a durable, food-safe surface that enhances the wood's natural character.

Complete with black metal handles, this board is equally at home serving your favorite appetizers or displayed as a functional piece of art. It's a little reminder of those quiet mountain lakes, surrounded by towering peaks, where brook trout thrive.
